FEMALE CHARTER CHEF for 24 mt S/Y

 

Atlantico is looking for an experienced Female Chef to join an 80ft Italian full-charter sailing yacht. Home port in Genova, on a permanent contract. (Can be also seasonal) The yacht cruises the Mediterranean during the summer season only. Although the yacht is not very large, it has a strong base of returning charter guests, completing 8–10 charters per season, so both the quality and presentation of the food are essential. As with any 24m yacht, teamwork is key. The crew consists of 3 members — Captain, Mate/Deckhand, and Chef. Chef has her own cabin. While cooking is the chef’s primary responsibility, she also helps with setting and clearing the table and occasionally assists in light stew duties alongside the rest of the team. Being a team player is therefore a must. The crew is entirely Italian, so Italian candidates will be given priority, or some knowledge of Italian would be an advantage, though applications from other nationalities are welcome. The owner uses the yacht only 1–2 weeks per season, just like a regular charter guest and provides tips accordingly. The ideal candidate would be professional, energetic, and creative in the galley. Italian, French and Med cuisine knowledge is a must! Salary: DOE – industry standard + tips. Start: ASAP | Location: Genova | Med summer season only.
