EXCLUSIVE GUEST CHEF | 2-Week Contract-
TEMPORARY CHARTER GUEST CHEF / MALE OR FEMALE
(16 August Charter – possibility to join on 13 or 14 August, subject to Captain’s confirmation)
We are looking for an exceptional Temporary Private Charter Chef for an exclusive charter onboard a 50m charter M/Y cruising in Croatia. The yacht already has its own Chef onboard. However, the charter client has requested an additional private Chef to provide a completely bespoke, premium dining experience throughout the charter. Guest cabin offered for the chef. Max 4-8 guest.
The ideal candidate should have a refined culinary style with a strong focus on Mediterranean cuisine, and varieties. The ability to bake fresh bread, such as sourdough, ciabatta, and baguettes, is important. Fine dining presentation is only occasionally required, as the preference is generally for family-style dining. However, every dish is expected to be exceptionally flavourful, made with high-quality ingredients, and offer plenty of variety. Experience working with luxury ingredients such as truffles and caviar is also essential, along with strong provisioning skills and the ability to source premium products.
Breakfast is an important part of the experience. The Chef should be able to prepare dishes such as Eggs Benedict with freshly made English muffins, along with other homemade breakfast items. Store-bought pastries are generally not preferred. The cuisine is very much focused on Mediterranean flavours. Spicy food and heavily seasoned dishes are generally not preferred. Beautifully presented fresh fruit platters are also frequently requested. Strong meat cookery skills are also essential, with the ability to consistently cook different cuts to the guests’ preferred level of doneness.
Fine dining techniques and small, highly artistic tasting-style presentations—such as foams, gels, or other modernist elements—are not required. The preference is for generous, beautifully prepared dishes with an emphasis on flavour, quality, and simplicity.
We are looking for a Chef who can deliver:

- A discreet, flexible, guest-focused approach
- Previous superyacht or UHNW private household experience
Start Date: 16 August 2026 (possibility to join on 13 or 14 August, subject to Captain’s confirmation)

Daily Rate: €500- 600
Contract: Temporary Charter Position
