Atlantico Crew Consultancy is seeking an exceptional Sole Chef (Male or Female) for a 50m Private Family Yacht. The yacht is strictly private and never chartered, operating with a calm and professional onboard culture. The vessel cruises throughout the Mediterranean including France, Spain, Italy, Croatia, Greece and Turkey, with the current base in La Spezia, Italy. The position requires a chef with genuine mastery of refined Arabic and Middle Eastern cuisine, combined with authentic Italian cooking. Sushi capability and broader Asian culinary knowledge are considered a strong advantage. All cuisine onboard is prepared entirely from scratch, including sauces, stocks, breads and desserts. The chef will take full responsibility for galley management, including provisioning, organization, and maintaining the highest culinary and hygiene standards. Proper care and maintenance of all galley equipment and kitchen tools are also an important part of the role. The chef will cook for 8–14 guests as well as approximately 14 crew members, covering everything from refined dinner service to vibrant everyday family-style meals. Temperament is considered just as important as culinary skill. The owners are seeking someone grounded, disciplined, discreet and ego-free — a chef who takes genuine pride in their craft and understands the dynamics of working within a private family environment. For the right candidate, the position is intended to become a year-round role, combining approximately four months onboard the 50m yacht between June and October with the remainder of the year based at the owner’s estate in Tuscany. However, chefs interested in a seasonal contract only are also welcome to apply. An immediate start may be possible for the right candidate if only want to work on yacht, working through the remainder of the current season. Candidates who prefer to start in June for the summer season are also encouraged to apply. The trial will take place in Florence / Italy and will last for three days.
